George’s Pub – George’s Black Angus Burger
George’s is a local favorite and community staple. As a pub, they do offer libations, but they take their food – and their burgers – seriously. The patty is 1/3 pound, and this is the best option for a burger that tastes like your dad made it for you on the grill (AKA, “Dad Burger”).
Smitty’s Garage – Bacon Avocado Ranch Burger
Bacon. Ranch. Avocado. Enough said. Smitty’s Garage, in my opinion, dependably serves fresh burgers. Not only do they have good variety, they also offer turkey, bison and veggie patties for your protein.
Louie’s Bar & Grill – Brew Burger
Bacon and beer cheese on a burger is insanely tasty … and messy. But, it’s worth it! Don’t order this on a date, and maybe consider a fork and knife if you are worried about staining your favorite shirt.
Ron’s Hamburgers & Chili – Sausage Cheeseburger
Do not attempt to pick up this burger. A fork and knife will be essential to cut through the 50/50 sausage-to-beef-ratio patty, melty pepper jack cheese, lettuce and mustard. Pro-tip: ask for a frosty mug for your favorite pop.
Burn Co. – The Fatty Burger
Burn Co’s The Fatty is a Friday exclusive, which makes sense. Once you consume the near pound of meat, you can hibernate for the rest of the weekend. A dash of barbeque sauce and slice of cheese top off an unparalleled burger experience. We’ll leave it to you to research what constitutes a slice of The Fatty.
