Oklahoma Aquarium
Travel to vibrant tropical oceans, crystal mountain streams, and the deepest depths of the sea all in Jenks, Oklahoma! The Oklahoma Aquarium is home to the world’s largest exhibit of bull sharks, as well as endangered species such as the humphead wrasse, loggerhead sea turtles, and zebra sharks. During their visit, guests can engage with interactive exhibits such as shark and ray touch tanks, stingray and turtle feeding, and much more.
Visitors can experience a behind-the-scenes adventure with the Oklahoma Aquarium’s Animal Encounters! Help biology staff train river otters, feed zebra sharks, and even watch feedings of juvenile bull sharks and Oklahoma’s most beloved loggerhead sea turtle, Seamore! In addition to these experiences, education staff will teach participants about these animals and their ecological importance.
Your aquatic adventure will go to unbelievable depths with new interactive experiences! Now at the Oklahoma Aquarium, you can immerse yourself in a virtual reality ocean with sharks, sea turtles, and so much more. If you’ve ever dreamed of riding a sea creature, test your strength and balance on our mechanical bull shark. With our Hurricane Simulator, guests can feel a force of nature with winds of up to 75 MPH.
Explore our Secret World of the Octopus exhibit, which opened in May 2020. The exhibit allows visitors to see a 360-degree view of a giant Pacific octopus in a large cylinder tank with a shipwreck structure. The giant Pacific octopus is the largest octopus species, and many consider it to be the most intelligent invertebrate species in the world.
